Owner and Operator of Miss Vi's Cook-Up

Let me tell you little bit of who we are and what we do. Miss Vi’s cook-up is named in honor of my maternal grandmother Viola Accra from Guyana. A lot of what I cook is attributed to the skills learned
from her while I was growing up. She had the talent of taking the simplest and freshest ingredients and turning them in to a tastetravaganza (yes, that’s a word). One of her specialities would be the renowned Guyanese dish called cook-up rice. Now, with her skill this dish was so scrumptious that it would bring in people from around her neighborhood armed with a plate to share in this gastronomical feast. Family legend has it that my father enjoyed Miss Vi’s rice so much that it helped him take the decision to marry
my mother (mom’s not so hot on this story so we don’t mention it… often).

My skills are a dichotomous blend of a formal culinary education and family teachings. So who are we? We are a social, corporate catering and vending company servicing the Greater Tampa Bay Area. We are
small enough for the personal touch but with the experience to ensure every event is something special. We specialize in Caribbean foods and are renowned from our intimate gatherings to our corporate
meals. We have the flexibility to help you customize a menu for your specific needs and would be happy to work with you to make your event a memorable one. By the way, I am not sure if you have checked out our sauce shop, go ahead and browse through our
